Superintendent James E. Lee, II is a product of the Dallas Business Magnet School and Jarvis Christian College. A third-generation leader in the Church of God in Christ, he is the son of Sherel Baxter Lee and the late Bishop J. Edward Lee.

Supt. Lee traces his Church of God in Christ pedigree to the former chairman of the International Elders Council, the late Bishop A.D. Baxter of Pennsylvania, and Bishop S.D. Lee, founding prelate of the Texas East Jurisdiction. Supt.

Lee is the proud father of four and is married to the Evangelist LaKitsha J. Lee. He serves as the Administrative Assistant to Bishop of the Texas East Jurisdiction, the superintendent of the S.D. Lee District and is the pastor of the Neighborhood House of Prayer Dallas and the Holy Temple Church of God in Christ, Terrell.
